1st 1/2 marathon...

[UPDATE]

Sooooo... we were going to put our ninja gear for the 1/2 marathon (they called for 16F temp - which was true, early am). We started out at 8am at chilly 23F - which was not bad... we both had to layered shirts (one thick, one thin), our tights, hoodies, gloves, and our kickin' muzak. It was a great race, the weather was not as bad as we thought - the hills were what killed us and now we vege out.

Davicho's time

Liz's time

all i can say is - shriveled nuts! 'pposed to be coooooooold. Oh well... wish us luck... there is no turning back now (unlike the weather chick from the charlotte news).

Gear - check
Muzak - check, checckkk
can-do 'ttude - che-e-e-eck
ready to get it over with - yester-check!
